CRICOS Policies

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that Ultimate Institute of Australia complies with the requirements of Standard 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the National Code 2007 (Amendments 2012) and Standard 4 of the Standards for RTOs 2015 for ethical marketing and advertising of its courses to prospective international students.

This procedure describes the application and selection process to ensure that:
Students who are capable of being successful in their chosen course of study are selected Selection process is conducted in an ethical and responsible manner Appropriate access and equity principles are considered in selection criteria
The application and selection process is consistent and is compliant with standard 2.2 – student engagement before enrolment’ of thenational code 2007

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australia ensures that it complies with the requirements of ‘Standard 2’ of the ‘National Code when assessing the student qualifications experience and English proficiency.

This policy establishes the criteria for granting refunds to ensure that the refunds of fees are made in accordance with Standard 3 of the National Code 2007.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australia complies with the requirements of Standard 5 of the National Code 2007 if, in future, UltimateInstitute decides to recruit or enrol international students under the age of 18 years into its courses.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australia providessupport to students to adjust to study and life in Australia, to achieve their learning goals and to achieve satisfactory progress towards meeting the learning outcomes of the course.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australiahas a critical incident policy and procedure that covers the action to be taken in the event of a critical incident, required follow-up to the incident, and records of the incident and action taken, in compliance with ‘Standard 6 – Student Support Services’ of the National Code.

In line with obligations under Victorian and Commonwealth legislation, Ultimate Institute of Australia is committed to promoting a fair and equitable environment for staff and students that is free from discrimination, harassment and vilification.

This policy applies to all current and prospective Ultimate Institute of Australia staff and students and should be read in conjunction with the ‘Complaints and Appeals Policy and Procedure

Students are required to follow all rules of the Ultimate Institute of Australiaand the instructions from staff representingthe Ultimate Institute. Students are required to act in a non-discriminatory manner at all times and respect therights of other students, staff and visitors.

The purpose of this policy is to guide Ultimate Institute of Australia to meeting OH&S legislation and addressing OH&S issues in the workplace.

Ultimate Institute of Australia places a high priority on the safety and health of its employees and clients. This policy and procedure has been developed recognising that the well-being of employees and clients can directly affect their job satisfaction, motivation, and overall morale in the institute environment.

This policy and procedure ensures that Ultimate Institute of Australia can provide educational services in a safe and secure environment.

The following procedure provides a guideline to the requirements of timetabling of classes, times of the Ultimate Institute Australia’s operation, and delivery schedule to ensure that the students are not being asked to undertake training and assessment without over extending their time capabilities or jeopardising their safety.

UltimateInstitute of Australia’s strict policy against plagiarism and cheating means that the integrity of our courses and qualifications issued is upheld. It is essential to our reputation that plagiarism is dealt with promptly and in accordance with this policy.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australia complies with the requirements of Standard 7 of the National Code 2007 for transfer of international students between registered providers.

The Complaints and Appeals Policy and Procedure is designed to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australia responds effectively and efficiently to students’ complaints and dissatisfaction during the course of study.

This policy outlines a mechanism to ensure students and prospective students can have their dissatisfaction regarding any academic or non-academic matters addressed appropriately in a timely, fair and confidential manner.

Thepurpose of this policy is to ensure that international students complete their studies within the expected duration of the program, as specified on the student’s Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), in compliance with the National Code 2007 (Standard 9).

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australia complies with the requirements of ‘Standard 10 – Monitoring Course Progress’ of the National Code 2007 in monitoring course progress of international students studying at Ultimate Institute and provide appropriate intervention and support to assist student to successfully complete their course of study.

This policy supports ‘Standard 12 – Course Credit’ of the ‘National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities & Providers of Education & Training to Overseas Students 2007’ which states ‘Registered providers must appropriately recognise course credit within the ESOS framework.’

 

This policy outlines a procedure for Ultimate Institute of Australiato process any student’s applications for course credit and document any results, including student verification of the outcome. It will provide a process that ensures that students receive written verification of the outcome of the course credit application and records are kept with student files.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the Ultimate Institute of Australia complies with the requirements of ‘Standard 13 – Deferring, suspending or cancelling the student’s enrolment’ of the ‘National Code for allowing students to defer or temporarily suspend their studies, including granting a leave of absence, during the course through formal agreement in certain limited circumstances only.
